The Complementary Health Centre was established due to the need for professional training with recognised qualifications. You can be assured of a comprehensive and professional course, resulting in well recognised and accredited qualifications.

CHC is conditionally registered with the Dept. of Education as a Private Higher Education Institution. Our Therapeutic Aromatherapy and Therapeutic Reflexology qualifications are registered by SAQA as National Qualifications. Our qualified therapists are able to apply to the Allied Health Professions Council of SA for registration to practice at a therapeutic level.

Qualified tutors, who are also registered practicing therapists, conduct the practical and theory classes, which are presented in an easy to earn outcomes-based format. Guest speakers and other specialists in their particular field of practice, are also utilised for the presentation of certain modules.The Colleges are well equipped and have ample lecture areas for both Practical and Theory classes. A wide selection of programs is offered, ranging from short one day workshops to 2 year full time training.

In accordance with National and International standards, a full training program in Anatomy, Physiology and Patho-physiology is included. Regular tests/assessments are set and mid and year-end examinations are conducted.
